The Richland Township Police Department will be accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer beginning Monday July 24, 2023.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalency and have successfully completed PA Act 120 training by the time of appointment. Applicants must also be able to pass all mandatory components of the testing process to include a physical agility test, written examination, oral examination, a polygraph examination, a background check, a medical examination, and a psychological examination.

Application forms required to be completed to apply for the position of Police Officer are available at the Richland Township Police Department, 322 Schoolhouse Road Johnstown, PA 15904. The applications can be picked up Monday – Friday Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Applications can also be sent via e-mail by contacting the Police Department at (814)266-8333 and requesting an application.

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE TURNED INTO THE RICHLAND TOWNSHIP POLICE OFFICE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS (M-F 8:00-4:00 PM) BY 4:00 pm August 17, 2023.
